JMM’s long-standing relationship with Lloyd’s Insurance market has enabled the development of a series of special insurance programmes for business.
JMM has gained the confidence of Lloyd’s Syndicates to be able to offer this unique insurance package specifically for companies operating as main contractors or sub-contractors within the construction or rail sectors in the UK and Europe. The package has been specifically designed also to comply with regulations and requirements for various industry sectors such as Rail, Construction, Utilities, Aerospace and Energy including offshore Oil and Gas.
The programme provides Contractors Liability Insurance, Contractors All Risks and Plant cover in one insurance policy.
The policy covers operations worldwide, it contracts directly with principals, covers all industries, trades and professions and does not require contract renewal to underwriters.
JMM’s Annual Contractors Package is tailored to our clients’ specific risk profiles so that the policy cost relates solely to actual exposures. Our clients therefore only pay to cover the risks arising from their specific business activities.
A typical programme will include Employers Liability limit of £10 million, with Indemnity for unsatisfied court judgements and court attendance costs; Public and Products Liability of £10 million which will cover indemnity to Principals, Cross Liability Cover and Damage to rented premises.
The Contractors All Risks package also includes Contract Works and Construction; Plant, Equipment and Machinery; Hired Plant; Employee Tools and Personal Effects, Indemnity against reinstatement costs including professional fees, debris removal, continued hiring charges and cost of immobilised plant. JMM can increase indemnity limits to £25 million if required.
This specialised insurance package has been developed in conjunction with syndicates at Lloyd’s for companies recruiting and supplying personnel to industries such as Aviation, Rail, Construction, Utilities, Healthcare, Offshore, Aerospace, IT, Oil & Gas, Mining and Plant Hire. We believe that the package is the most comprehensive and flexible available today.
Standard covers are for combined liability insurances, professional indemnity, medical malpractice and drivers’ negligence. Directors and Officers can be included. The cover also includes Indemnity to Principals, damage to leased or rented premises, Vicarious Liability from contractors supplied, Employers’ Liability, Public and Products Liability, Breach of Data Protection Act, Libel and Slander.
We review the scope and complexity of each client’s risk individually and are able to match contractual terms and conditions to the individual risk assessment. Our cover is worldwide, including North America.
This specialised insurance package has been developed in conjunction with Syndicate Underwriters at Lloyds and JMM’s legal advisors. The policy provides global cover, including North America, in one insurance package.
The policy covers contractors working in offshore oil and gas for loss and damage to property, personal injury, death and illness as well as third-party losses, pollution and indirect or consequential loss. It also covers Employers’ Liability, Public and Products Liability and Professional Indemnity.
JMM is able to scope and rate each risk separately to ensure that clients’ overall insurance needs are fully covered at the best possible rates.
Typical policy limits for Employers Liability, Public and Products Liability are £10 million with £5 million for Asbestos and Terrorism and £5 million for Products, Pollution and Environment Liability. Professional Indemnity at £5 million. Limits of up to £25 million are available as required.
Since 1994 JMM has designed and marketed specific cancellation, abandonment and rescheduling protections
This unique insurance protection also covers customers’ inability to attend their hospitality event for causes that are outside of their control, such as flight delay, transport failure, weather, personal accident and illness, strikes, riots.
Our Hospitality and Event protection is able to provide no play cover for outside events such as tennis tournaments and cricket matches.
JMM can arrange cover for motorsport, tennis tournaments, horse racing, rugby matches, football, cricket as well as concerts, theatre performance and many types of outdoor events.
Event tickets are typically sold on the basis of no refund and no cancellation. Individual ticket purchasers who cannot attend an event will forfeit the cost of their tickets unless they can resell them. This is very difficult if last-minute illness, accident, inclement weather or transportation delay makes attendance impossible.
JMM has offered individual inability to attend ticket reimbursement programmes to venues, event organisers and ticket agents since 1994. Our SecureMyBooking.com programme ensures that customers who cannot attend an event will be reimbursed the full cost of their ticket purchase, including all fees and additional items purchased at the same time as the tickets.
The benefits for JMM’s clients include a free claims service, a new income stream and improved customer service that will help win repeat business.
